I'm a Brazilian geek who gladly traded the hot Brazilian sun for the mild clouds of the UK where I earned a Business Management bachelor's degree.

However, my passion for IT never waned. In 2015, I embarked on a graduate scheme in Software Testing and fell absolutely in love with the field.

Throughout my career, I have learned to code and honed my technical skills to excel in my role. I now specialize in automation and agile testing, collaborating closely with developers to ensure a smooth development process. 

My passion for agile methodologies and shifting testing left has driven me to integrate testing earlier in the development cycle, ensuring that issues are identified and resolved promptly. Being a technical tester has also allowed me to better understand developers' perspectives, fostering stronger collaboration and more effective problem-solving.

I am experienced in writing automation frameworks from scratch, typically in Python or using Robot Framework, and have recently started learning C# to make my scripts more accessible to developers. While I use Selenium WebDriver to test front-end applications, my recent focus has been on API testing using Postman and event-driven processes.

Quality and testing are my true passions, and I love working with the entire development team to continuously improve our processes, enhancing both quality and confidence.

Beyond testing, I have a love for arts and crafts and fortune-telling, spending my free time on calligraphy, bookbinding, and reading Tarot. I am also a certified SoulCollage® facilitator, allowing me to share this beautiful work with others.

As a proud geek, I still enjoy reading books, playing board games, and watching the latest Netflix series.
