I'm a Brazilian geek that gladly traded off the hot Brazilian sun for the clouds in the UK.

I was a Portuguese and Literature student that spent her leisure time reading books and watching anime and dreamed of becoming a translator until I went to work on a cruise ship and my whole perspective changed.

I came to the UK, got a Business Management bachelor's degree, but IT was always my passion. In 2015, I started a graduate scheme on Software Testing, and absolutely fell in love with it.

During my career, I learned to code and got more technical to support my role. I now specialize in automation and agile testing, testing side by side with devs to make sure the development process runs smoothly.

I'm used to writing automation frameworks from scratch, usually in Python or using Robot Framework, but have recently started learning C# to make my scripts more accessible to devs. I use Selenium WebDriver to test front-end applications, but my focus lately has been API testing and event-driven processes. 

I am very passionate about quality and testing in general, and love to work with the whole development team in figuring out ways we can improve our processes to improve our quality and confidence even further.

However, testing is not my sole passion in life. I have developed a taste for arts and crafts and fortune-telling, spending my free time doing calligraphy, bookbinding and reading Tarot. I am also a certified SoulCollage® facilitator, allowing me to share this beautiful work with the world.

As a good geek, I still enjoy reading books, playing boardgames and watching the latest Netflix series.
